Horton Group of Companies is a construction and development contractor working across Ontario — from ground servicing and structure through to the fit-out a tenant actually moves into. One team, one contract, one person answering the phone.
01 What we do
Most of our work falls into one of these. If your project sits between two of them — which many do — say so when you call and we will tell you how we would structure it.

Read more02 Why Horton
Plenty of firms can pour concrete. What owners actually struggle to find is a builder who returns the call, prices the work honestly the first time, and tells them early when something has gone sideways.
We keep our project load deliberately below what our supervision can carry. It costs us volume. It is also the reason our clients keep coming back with the next building.
Offices, retail units, mixed-use podiums and the fit-out that follows.
Multi-unit residential, low-rise blocks and purpose-built rental.
Schools, community facilities, clinics and places of worship.
Warehousing, light manufacturing, logistics and yard works.
Sectors we build in. Ask about anything not listed — we will give you a straight yes or no.
03 On the ground
Three stages of the same job: the ground it stands on, the frame that goes up, and the space somebody finally works in.
04 How we work
The same sequence on a fit-out as on a ground-up build. Only the duration changes.
We walk the site, read the drawings and ask what the building actually has to do. Nothing is priced before it is understood.
A budget that hides risk is not a budget. Allowances, exclusions and contingency are written down in plain language.
One superintendent owns the site. Progress, safety and quality are reported every week — including the weeks that go badly.
Deficiencies, warranties, manuals and as-builts are handed over complete. We would rather finish slowly than leave a list behind.

06 What we hold ourselves to
“A building is finished long after the trades leave. We would rather hand over a short deficiency list and a full set of manuals than be the contractor nobody can reach in year two.”
07 Document verification
Employers, immigration representatives and financial institutions can confirm that a letter issued in our name is genuine. Enter the reference number printed on the document, or the passport number it was issued against.
Secure lookup
Verification runs against our HR system in real time. We show only what is needed to confirm the document — never an employee's full personal file. Records that were never issued will not return a result.
Send us the scope, the site and the date you need it finished. We will tell you honestly whether we are the right contractor for the job.
